2023-2024 Women's Tennis Alumni Giving Challenge
The UCSB Women's Tennis Program's success begins with you and the emotional and financial support from our amazing alumni and community.
Every year the program has a fundraising goal we must reach to provide necessary resources for our student-athletes. This year the team's fundraising goal is $45,000. To help us reach this goal, we are asking all of our women's tennis alumni to make a donation to the Women's Tennis Program. Our goal is to get as many alumni to make a contribution as possible, a donation at any level will make an impact on our team. Your donation will provide necessities including: assistant coaching support and retention, gear, travel fees, nutrition, and training equipment. These items will allow us to remain competitive as one of the top women's tennis programs in the country.
Women's Tennis Alumni have the unique opportunity to name a locker in the women's tennis locker room at the new Arnhold Tennis Center. After careful thought and planning Coach Thibodeau and UCSB Athletics would like to have each of the new lockers named after a women's tennis alum. Your name in the new locker room will inspire the current athletes every day. This is an opportunity to support UCSB Women's Tennis student-athletes and to continue your legacy at UCSB.
You can secure your opportunity to name one of the only 12 lockers with a tax-deductible gift of $5,000, which may be spread out over a period of up to five years former athletes who choose to name a locker will be recognized with a plaque on a locker with their name, graduation year, and UCSB Tennis logo. Each plaque will stay in place for the life of the locker. Your gift will go toward the tennis center and the women’s tennis program and will have an immediate impact on current players. This is an opportunity to share your legacy with others whom you have impacted.
Your gift is fully tax deductible. Payments may be by credit card or check. The opportunity will last as long as there are lockers available to sponsor. To get involved contact Mia Weber at mia.weber@ucsb.edu or at (805) 893-4785.
